Closing date: On-going recruitment This company is nationwide who currently have 54 branches providing domiciliary care in the community to a range of service users, including older people, those with dementia, people with physical disabilities or sensory impairment, adults with learning difficulties and mental illness. Your duties will include performing a variety of tasks accordingly to individual care plans including personal care (washing, bathing, toileting), domestic care (laundry and cleaning) and social care (collection of pensions, shopping etc) Positions exist in the following locations: Braunstone, Glenfield, New Parks, Eyres Monsell, Thurnby Lodge, Oadby, Knighton, Wigston, Blaby, Countesthorpe, Whetstone, Peatling areas and across the City. Employer has asked that candidates live within the area for which they are applying, due to the various shift patterns, should they not have their own transport. Full training will be given to NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care. Due to the personal care duties, applicants must be age 18+. Qualifications/skills required for the job: This company are looking for caring, honest and hardworking professionals. You must have good communication, English and Maths skills, a clear understanding of confidentiality and have a neat and tidy appearance. Previous experience is desirable however, attitude and motivation are essential for this role. Hours/days of work: Full and part time hours available. Part time weekend shifts also available. This service operates 24 hours a day, 365 days per year, so you must be prepared to be flexible. Location: Various city locations.
