A global company with a major presence in the UK are pleased to announce they are recruiting for Assembly Operator Apprentices. The company’s British presence has grown rapidly in recent years and now employs more than 10,000 people.

The apprentice’s main duties and responsibilities will include assembling products using Standard Work Instructions, in a team-based environment.

On successful completion of the Intermediate Apprenticeship there may be a possibility that the job could lead in to a permanent position within the company as contracts will be reviewed after 12 months.

Qualifications/skills required for the job:
The applicant should be flexible, willing to learn and self motivated. The apprentice must have good communication skills and strong team working skills.

A minimum of GCSE grades C in Maths and English (or equivalent) is required for this post. As part of the selection criteria, applicants will be expected to attend an assessment day where they will be able to demonstrate their team-working skills and their willingness to learn, this will be held in Leicester. This day will conclude with an interview for the apprenticeship - with those who are successful on the day being offered a contract of employment.

Hours/days of work:
Monday - Friday, 7.30am to 3.30pm
