Futures Apprenticeship Agency in Nottingham is recruiting for a PVC-U Fabricator on behalf of a company based in Coalville. As a Futures Apprentice you will be employed by Futures Apprenticeship Agency and based with the host employer in Coalville for your work and training.  You will learn all aspects of the job so that you can fabricate a window or door from start to finish including: working the machine centre which cuts length and joints; reinforcing the PVC-U; welding the windows together; operating the corner cleaner machines to clean the welded joints; putting the windows together on the fabricating bench; quality control; glazing windows.

Qualifications/skills required for this job:
You’ll ideally have a minimum of GCSE D+ grades in English and Maths (or equivalent) and have the ability to measure accurately.  You’ll want to learn, have the ability to use your own initiative, get on well with others and have good time keeping skills.  You’ll be able to work to instructions in a busy team and some lifting will be involved.  You’ll have the ability to follow procedures for health and safety in the work place.
