Qualifications
There are many established and new qualifications available. Employers need to know about the range of qualifications young people may be coming to them with and which they may be able to undertake once young people are employed.
National Vocational Qualifications (NVQs)
National Vocational Qualifications (NVQs) cover various aspects of a job area or work, teaching the skills actually used in the workplace. Employees are assessed against national occupational standards expected in their job role.
The QCDA website has information about NVQs and how your staff and business could benefit from including them as part of your staff training and development.
