Where we work
Connexions advisers work with young people who live in the city at our Connexions centre and in the local community*. We provide a careers service for schools and colleges.
Young people aged 16-18 who live in Leicester and are not in work or education can visit our centre for information advice and other support to get into a job or training or on to a course.
The Connexions centre has up-to-date info on courses, grants and benefits, jobs and employment trends:
- Job vacancy board showing local opportunities for young people
- Job search guides and information to take away
Since September 2012 the delivery of services in schools and colleges has changed
- All schools and colleges are now responsible for providing careers guidance for their students.
- These services may be delivered by different providers.
