Course Title: Employability

Name of Provider: Groundwork Leicester & Leicestershire

Who is it suitable for: 16-18 yr old not currently in Education or Employment

What will you learn: A programme focussing on employability; vocational training, sales and recycling of
bikes.
The Leaner journey is accredited on the QCF, Level 1 requiring 80 GLH, over 10
weeks at 2 days for 5 hour per day (with lunch break).
Learners create a personal CV, develop key skills relevant for employment and
increase personal confidence and self-esteem. They are encouraged to progress to
the ‘Certificate’ status (120GLH).
Additionally, there is option for accreditation in Enterprise and Wider Key Skills, and
Level 2 Bicycle Maintenance involving practical workshop experience. Those
interested in retail can gain experience at our retail outlet on Sanvey Gate.


When does it start:Monthly from 28th May 2012  
Monday and Tuesday from 10-3.30 in Leicester City Centre. 
Course is also running from 17th May 2012 Thrusday and Friday from 10-3.30 in Coalville.

First Aid (in-house delivery)
Manual handling (in-house delivery)
