Course Title: Renewable Technology Name of Provider: Groundwork Leicester & Leicestershire Who is it suitable for: 16-18 yr old not currently in Education or employment What will you learn: A programme focused on developing an individuals employability in the sustainable technology field; renewable energy such as PV & solar panels. Learners develop key skills relevant for employment in a newly emerging and expecting to present great opportunity for “green jobs”. Technical knowledge will be underpinned by increasing personal confidence and self-esteem. The course will involve some hands-on involvement in renewable energy, understanding how systems work and the practical issues involved.
