 Who is it suitable for: 16-18 yr old not currently in Education or Employment

What will you learn: A 7 week (80 hour) hands on experience in construction to sample different trades and skills from joinery to brickwork will be undertaken:
1)  A taster day workshop for each trade giving individuals the opportunity to see which trade they prefer and gain a qualification unit; 
2) Learners will be helped to create a CV and have the support from an employment engagement tutor to help them find work; and
3) Individuals will be completing one unit in a personal development qualification such as ‘money management’ so that when learners do find employment, they know how to manage their money.

When does it start: Weekly from 23rd April 2012

What qualifications will you get: Employability and Personal Development,Basic Construction skills

What happens when you finish: Apprenticeship, Employment
