The course is designed to engage young people in theory and practical sessions.  The sessions will cover the following subject:

- Award in working with children level 1
- Teamwork and play
- Visiting Local Nurseries 
- Presentations from Nursery Managers explaining what they are looking for.
- Support and guidance during their Work placement 
- Safeguarding level 1 (if needed)
- Food Hygiene level 1 (if needed)
- Paediatric first aid 

Learners will attend 3 days a week for 5 weeks (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday), each day will start at 10am and end at 4:30.
There will be a number of offsite visits for search into the market for working and team building activities.
