Access to Apprenticeship Scheme (voluntary initially, leading to full Apprenticeship after trial taster)-open to 16-24 year olds Retail/Childcare or Admin in Leicester City Centre or Warehouse Assistant-Wigston Retail also avail in Braunstone-NEW! Retail now available in Coalville The retail role includes: Participating in the day-to-day running of the shop. Keeping the shop and displays clean and tidy at all times. Operating the till and accurately handling cash, cheques and credit/debit cards Respond to orders received from the online shop by processing sales and packaging orders. Follow cashing up procedures. Receiving deliveries, unpacking and re-shelving or storing stock. Assisting with regular stock checks and annual stock takes Looking after all aspects of the shop whilst the Retail Manager is away. Being vigilant at all times and to help minimise stock loss. The warehouse role includes: Picking and packing goods Ensuring health and safety is maintained at all times Working in the a team Ensuring food hygiene is in place Ensuring a high level of housekeeping at all times There are also new opportunities available in CHILDCARE and ADMINISTRATION Qualifications/Skills required Keen to learn, hardworking and reliable Hours per week: 30 hours Location: Retail, Childcare, Admin, City Centre Warehouse, Wigston Retail also in Braunstone area
