Foundation Learning - Melton Mowbray area ‘Enabling young people the opportunity to succeed’ What is Foundation Learning? If you are aged 16-19 years, but not ready for full-time employment or education then this may be for you. The programme is all about giving you the individual help and support that you may need to be able to move into further education, work based learning or employment. We can help you to reach your full potential by building your self confidence and gaining a variety of qualifications. An initial assessment will identify your strengths, opportunities for improvements and the development of your individual learning plan. Along the way you will have FUN but you will also pick up useful life skills such as: - Functional Skills - Maths - Functional Skills – English - Functional Skills – ICT - Employability Skills - Personal and Social Development - Team Building - Problem Solving - Job Seeking - Interview Techniques - CV Production - Communication and Socialising Skills. Student Success: We encourage students to move into full-time education, apprenticeships or employment and are proud of our many success stories in these areas. We also get involved with other Foundation Learning courses throughout Leicestershire. Hours/days of work: A flexible roll on/roll off programme Location: North Street, Melton Mowbray, LE13 Salary: None. Bus fare may be reimbursed.
