Foundation Learning-Suitable for City and County young people, some of the learning is based at Thorpe Astley but the Diving can take place all over Leicester and Leicestershire. This 25 weeks programme includes: The opportunity to improve your reading, writing, maths and communication skills. Improve your confidence, leadership skills d learn to work with others. Do work experience as an MDT Volunteer Earn an NOCN Level 1 Diploma in Progression First Aid training (HSE Appointed Person at Work) Learn how to create a CV, fill in application forms and succeed in job interviews Partake in a range of internationally recognised SCUBA Diving courses from absolute beginner all the way up to the professional PADI Divemaster level. This allows you to work anywhere in the world as a diver. A variety of team-building activities including Airsoft Skirmishes, Camping & Bushcraft Skills, Ropework, Power-Kiting, Canoeing, Boating, Archery, Map Reading and much more. Hours/days of programme: 3 days per week (10:00 until 17:00) – days TBC
