Labour Market Information (LMI) is important to help young people understand the changes in the labour market and the opportunities available to them when they have finished school, college or university.
In this section we provide LMI resources and links to support work related learning and careers education.
Specific support for the Leicestershire Personal Development Programme (PDP) is provided along with lists of links to support vocational learning including Diplomas.
All of these resources are generic and can be used in other programmes.
National Guidance Research Forum
The NGRF facilitates knowledge sharing and professional development, together with labour market information for those interested in career guidance research and practice including: practitioners, policy makers, researchers, guidance trainees. tutors and trainers.
The three sections focus on: 'Making Guidance More Effective', covering policy and the technical issues surrounding guidance; 'LMI Future Trends', the current and predictive labour market information on some 20+ UK occupational sectors; and 'LMI Learning' - a professional online learning module for those wishing to extend/consolidate their guidance knowledge.
