Careers Software

There are numerous careers software packages on the market.  In Leicester and Leicestershire the main ones in use and recommended by Connexions are Kudos, Careerscape and JED.

Kudos is a career matching tool that asks young people how they feel about different aspects of work.  Their responses are then matched against a database of jobs.

JED - Job Explorer Database is also a career matching tool that is suitable for younger students.

Most software programmes are now available online.  Schools need to buy an annual licence for access to the programmes using user names and passwords.
