LeCAP

The Leicester and Leicestershire Common Application Process (LeCAP)

What is LeCAP?

LeCAP is the process of students making choices about what to do after year 11 and then applying for their chosen learning option.

The process begins in year 10 and should be part of a careers education programme where students develop the skills needed to make well-informed realistic decisions about their future pathways.  The process usually ends when a young person is settled in a post 16 learning option after year 11.
