What will you learn: Course aim: To work collectively to promote a live music event
Description: 1. Decide with support what, where & when your event takes place?
2. You will be given a real budget (£500-£600)
3. Decide roles and responsibilities of the team.
4. Market research, costings, book artists etc.
5. Meet industry professionals
7. Create promotional material –flyers, posters, CDs
8. Launch event
9.Trip to O2 Academy London
Outcomes: Effective teamwork: Understanding roles and responsibilities: Create promotional material: Know difference between gross and net profit. Prepare for self- employment.
The participants will learn the essence of enterprise, budgeting, event co-ordinating and have the opportunity to take these skills into their future and work towards financial independence.
