LeCAP on-line is the electronic version
What can it be used for?
LeCAP on-line can be used to apply for all post 16 learning opportunities in Leicester and many in Leicestershire. This includes:
- 6th form colleges
- Schools with 6th forms
- Further Education (FE) colleges
- Apprenticeships and advanced apprenticeships

All institutions in Leicester can receive the electronic form.
How does it work?
You can complete the electronic form in the same way as a paper form. It takes you through the form stage by stage. Your tutor or PA will give you a username and password so you can log in. When completed it is sent to your tutor to be checked and to have a reference added and then sent electronically to your first two choices. You can check the system to see the progress of your application at any time. The admissions staff at your post 16 choices will still write to you to confirm interviews and offers.
What about apprenticeships and advanced apprenticeships?
All applications for apprenticeships and advanced apprenticeships will be a central point coordinating all coordinating all work based learning applications in Leicester and Leicestershire. They will send your application to providers that have opportunities in the occupations you have chosen. You will need to apply direct to some training providers.
