Full-time courses application calendar

January 31st

By this date the LeCAP on-line application should have been received by your 1st and 2nd choices.
Applications can still be made after this date but your choice may be limited.

February and March

Main interview period.
You will be offered an interview by your 1st choice and sometimes your 2nd choice.

April 17th

By this date all schools and colleges will have made an offer to most students.

When you receive an offer you must complete and return the ‘Offer Acceptance Form’ to show whether you wish to accept the offer or not.
(The offer may be conditional on your exam results)
If you are offered a place at more than one school/college or training provider, you must complete both forms, to make it clear which offer you are accepting.
If you have not been offered a place by your 1st or 2nd choices, your application will automatically be sent to your 3rd choice.

May 10th

By this date you must have made it clear which 16+ place you have accepted. After this date you may hold only ONE confirmed offer.

August 24th

Your exam results arrive.
You may have received information about what to do at this stage from the school/college/training provider whose offer you have accepted.
If you are not sure what to do after your results, contact your current school/college to discuss your situation or contact the Connexions Service for advice.
