Then you could apply for a grant of up to £5000 to turn your idea into a reality with a Prince's Trust Community Cash Award. Projects can be anything you can think of that will be of benefit to people where you live; whether that's a new basketball court, a music studio, or a setting up young parents' group.

The young researchers project gives you the chance to find out what young people in Leicester think about important issues and take action to improve the situation. So if you're fed up with the cost of public transport or want to do something about bullying in your community come along to a young researchers meeting.

When: Alternate Wednesdays, starting from 23rd April. 5pm to 6.45pm
Where: The Library, Bishop Street, Town Hall Square, Leicester.

It's your chance to talk about the issues facing you as a young parent, tell us what you think of services for young parents, and suggest changes that would improve your life.

We can pay for your childcare and your transport as long as receipts are provided. Meetings are held fortnightly.
