  • Making Choices

You will need to make some choices about your future. These could be:

    Which subjects to
    do at school

    Staying
    on at school

    Going to college

    What sort of job
    or training you might
    want to do

    Getting a job

You can find out about the choices you need to make by looking at the choices pages on the website.

You can also get help with making choices by:

Talking to your parents or carers

    Talking to your teacher

Talking to your Connexions personal adviser

Using computers to find out about different jobs

Looking at books in Connexions Information zones. You will have one of these at your school or college.

You can also use an Information zone at your local Connexions Centre

If you have a Statement of Special Educational Needs the school will have meetings with you. These meetings will help you plan what you are going to do when you leave school.

These meetings are called transition planning.
