Higher Education

Higher education usually means going to University or College after you are 18.

If you are studying A-levels or other courses at the same level you may be able to go into Higher Education.

There are lots of Higher Education courses you can do to help you get a job when you are older.

If you have a disability you may be able to get a Disabled Student Allowance.This is money that will pay for extra support at University.

Universities can offer extra help to students with learning difficulties or disabilities.
For example Universities offer:

• Extra help for students with learning difficulties.

• British Sign Language interpretation.
