    Mental health means how someone feels in their mind.

    Many people have times when they feel very upset, confused, sad, or worried.


    If you feel unhappy it might be because of a problem in your life, like not getting on with your family or worrying.


     

    However sometimes your problems may be too hard to sort out on your own. When you feel like this you could talk to someone about the way you feel.

    People that you could talk to when you feel upset are:

    • A friend or someone in your family
    • Your personal adviser. They can suggest other people who could help like a counsellor or support group
    • Your social worker
    • Your doctor
    • A psychologist
