Career Options

If you need help making your mind up about your future career you could try the following.

Look in your school or college Connexions Information Area, or in your local Connexions centre, for a wide range of careers books and leaflets, including prospectuses listing college and university courses.

There are a number of computer programs that you can use to help you find out about career options and plan your future career.

These programmes are available at Connexions centres and maybe available in your school or college Connexions information area. Ask your personal adviser or careers teacher if you would like to try one of these programmes.

Online careers programs (also available in Connexions centres)

Kudos and Careerscape are available online. Most schools and colleges have a licence to use the online programmes. If your school or college has a licence you should have been provided with a username or password to access the online programmes. If not then you should ask your Connexions personal adviser or careers teacher.
