Small project funding

Applications for small project funding (up to £7,500) must be received by 25 January 2008 on the small projects application form 2008/9. The small projects guidance will help you to complete the form.

Please take up the opportunity to discuss your proposed project with a Connexions manager or the VCS manager. This will help you focus your project closely on the Connexions aims and priorities, which greatly increases your chance of success.

Major project funding
The deadline for expressions of interest for major project funding was 7 December. Only successful applicants are invited to make full applications. The outcome will be known in February 2008

VCS grants programme 2006/07

Connexions Leicester Shire awarded 5% of the partnership’s budget in 2006/07 in grants to the voluntary and community sector to enable them to make provision for young people that supports the aims and principles of the Connexions service.

Leicestershire Youth Volunteering Strategy

The Leicestershire Russell Commision Implementation Group (LRCiG) has been established to make recommendations for a strategy to develop youth volunteering in Leicestershire.
