Connexions VCS Programme

Third sector organisations are invited each year to bid for funding for projects that support the aims and priorities of Connexions Leicester Shire. The third sector comprises voluntary and community sector organisations, together with social enterprises and similar not-for-profit organisations.

Information about applying for funding for the following financial year is normally available on this website in October the previous year. So you should expect to find information about funding that starts 1 April 2010 in October 2009.
The details and guidance that was given to organisations making applications for 2009/10 can be found in the Information for Applicants. There may be changes to the Programme for next year, but this guidance may help you plan your application.

Funding is normally available for two types of Project:
Small Projects are normally funded up to £7,500 to operate in a single financial year.
Major Projects may be funded up to £30,000 a year over two or three financial years.
